You could never call Truly Content a one-trick pony! We do anything and everything to do with digital marketing! We’re more like one of those fancy ponies, well, horses, that do dressage – we always impress. Anyway, we wanted to give you a bit of an insight into our lesser-known script writing services. Read on to find out more about the last piece we created.
We’ll Sort Everything Out – Script Writing
As with all of our services, if you come to us for help with script writing, you can have as much or as little involvement as you’d like. Come to us with a general idea of what you’re looking for or give us an exact brief. Whichever way you want to do it, we’ll work with you to ensure the finished project is perfect for you!
Writing
The last client that we did script writing for came to us with a pretty clear idea of what they wanted but they didn’t quite know how to achieve their goals. This meant that we needed to create some copy for them based on their expectations. After we sorted this, we sent it back to see what they thought and they gave us the go-ahead. The next step was to start bringing it to life with a storyboard.
Storyboards
This is the first storyboard we sent back to them:
You can see how it gives you more of a feel for how the piece comes together. It gives the client the chance to envisage the final piece of work and allows them to suggest any further edits that can be made before we get on set.
Fortunately, at Truly, we have our resident illustrator, Ben, to do all of this for us. He’s very talented and it’s just so helpful to have someone in-house to do this for us. We believe that doing everything ourselves is always the best way to go, we can just slide over to each other’s desks to discuss things when they come up. We don’t have to wait two days to book a meeting with anyone else!
Oh! And it’s good news for you too! There are no subcontracting costs, so you’re not wasting any of your budget!
What Do We Offer?
Of course, we don’t only cover the script writing and storyboards (unless that’s all you’d like us to do), we can take you through the entire project! The last piece that we did included the following:

See what we mean about being a dressage horse? With all of these people involved, you can again see why it’s good to keep everything in-house! Well, other than having to find a couple of actors.
It was our Content Manager, Anastasia, who covered the script writing for this piece, so how did she find it?
‘It was fun and different. It was nice to write in a different format and to think about how something will look as opposed to simply how it reads.’
